The Inquirer: HP burns midnight oil to update Linux Itanium support

SOME THINK that HP's secret agenda with its Itanium boxes is to dump all that boring old HP/UX stuff and beat the Linux drum for all its worth.

Be that as it may, over at Linux Today, it's apparent that HP and its allies are working all hours available to pull IA-64 support into the current stable branch of Linux.
