Seanodes and Serviware Sign Distribution Agreement

Seanodes has signed a distribution agreement with Serviware, one of the largest resellers of Linux clustering solutions in France. This agreement will allow Serviware to distribute, deploy, and ensure support for Exanodes, the Shared Internal Storage (SIS) solution created by Seanodes.

According to Frank Gana, “Each year, Serviware sells several thousand servers that are used within computing clusters. They are considered to be one of the best HPC system integrators in France, and their professionalism is highly regarded by all. They are one of the players who helped launch Linux clusters on the French market.” This agreement is a major event for Seanodes and is a positive response to both its Shared Internal Storage concept and its product, Exanodes.

Seanodes’ solutions offer extremely high-performance at a very low cost. This is a breakthrough for I/O management in a Linux cluster environment. Oliver Jean, the CEO of Serviware, affirmed that, “As a Systems Integrator, one of our objectives is to find and distribute innovative solutions that can help our customers handle any new challenges that come their way. Seanodes’ solutions fall clearly into this category.”

Jacques Baldinger concluded by announcing Seanodes’ upcoming objectives: “From now on we will be focusing our energy on developing an international distributor network. We are also in discussions with several server manufacturers: for them, our technology is a great way to gain back ground from the pure players on the storage market.”
